"Build a great heavy-duty, long conventional... to this end, our engineers spent hundreds of hours surveying and receiving input from the owner/operator of competitive trucks, fleet managers, mechanics, service managers, truck salesmen, and dealers. Many competitive trucks were examined in detail, tested, and some components taken apart for examination. We challenged designs, philosophies, and manufacturing techniques. We listened and listened. We took a good look at the results and went to work designing the first of many Generals.

We say many generations because good for the General was not good enough. It had to be impressive. This meant many hundreds of tests, failures, successes, and finally The General. We think it's a great truck befitting our 70 years of experience in making trucks."

This is the Chevrolet Bison/GMC General, a heavy-duty Class 8 semi truck produced by General Motors from 1977 to 1987. It started as a Chevrolet Bison released by Ben Austin in Expendables Modding; I have since taken that mod back into Blender and rebuilt most of it from the ground up.  This project took a lot of inspiration from BcBuhler's Mack and Volvo trucks, which I believe (as of writing) have set the standard for farm semis in Farming Simulator.  This project is also the first I have released to include custom dirt/wear maps; I intend to make this a standard for my releases in the future. Included in this mod pack are the 1977-81 Chevrolet Bison and 1977-87 GMC General with a multitude of options, including interactive control buttons that operate doors, windows, turn signals, and the engine start. Choose different exhaust pipes, fenders, racks, colors, and more!

i cant find it in the game

how do you get the box

Is there a difference between the Interactive Control you have linked here and Simple IC I see required for other mods

Yes, they are two separate mods. Interactive Control has way more functionality than SimpleIC and lets me make custom icons for different functions, which is why I choose to use it.

Is it okay to use mods that require each one or do they conflict with each other? Thanks.

They will not conflict, you can have both of them active in your mod folder. The vehicle will just be specific to one of them.

I don't know if this is possible, but i was wondering if you could make it so you could attach Dkbmodding's round baler picker

Any ways this is an amazing mod, like all of your others.

What beds go on i

The X2 attacher frame in the wheel configurations is compatible with any X2 bed, which includes 82Studio's truck beds and BcBuhler's bulk beds.

ok i figured out the bcbuhler beds but ill look into it Tysm for the mod GMC Generals are my favorite semi trucks along with c500 kenworths

I wonder how a cotton module AR frame body would look for this truck?

Not sure if there's a cotton module bed frame out there yet

There's not. It would be cool to see it on a truck though.

SERIOUSLY, my #1 favorite truck for everything.. LOVE IT! When you get time, more tires and wheels, and all that good stuff please!!

awsome to finally see this come to life, just wish the hood opened with IC control and had either the x3 configuration or a sleeper configuration like from smokey & the bandit 2

Yeah the sleeper would be really nice and the hood ic

Soo cool to see the collaboration!  Fantastic work my friend!

Hey I just noticed that the light switchs on twice for the first. Is that on purpose?

(+1)

Yes, that is intentional because the first light stage is dash lights, but most trailers usually have their lights turn on with the first light stage as well, so both switches light up. The second and third light stages only change the front low/high beams. If you see the labels for each light switch up close, it should make sense.

After 1.1.0.0 update I can't unload anything from any tipper into anything???

Can you elaborate on your issue? What trailers are you pulling, or is it an X2 frame bed? Are you using manual attach and forgot to attach the hoses?

(+1)

It might just be something weird on my end, but the only engine configs that actually pull a 13 spd is the 6-71 for both the Jimmy and the Bison. All of the other 13 spd engine configs pull the 9 spd.

Fantfuckingtastic work otherwise, I just wanted to send that along in case it was an issue others were having that they hadn't noticed yet.

For what it's worth, I think it is because the other 13 spds don't have a transmission. Logic would dictate that they should pull the last one you had in there, but Giants logic apparently thinks it should pull from the first Motor configs transmission.

Dang it, I forgot to test that; that's exactly what it is. The transmissions were added after initial testing, and logically, I thought the transmission would carry over. Thanks for reporting, glad you like it!

Good Stuff Sir! Thank you

You are welcome!

so it works with BcBuhlers AR beds?

Yes. The X2 attacher frame in the wheel configurations is compatible with any X2 bed, which includes 82Studio's truck beds and BcBuhler's bulk beds.
